ADP India, a leading provider of Human Resources Management Software & Services, has reasserted its commitment to safety, welfare, and sustainability in their CSR mission for the quarter. The company has hosted a sapling plantation drive to revitalize the Nanakramguda area of Hyderabad, and its office premises in Wadgoansheri area of Pune. In the scorching Hyderabad sun, over 100 associates at ADP India participated in this plantation drive to champion the cause of environmental preservation and regeneration.
The Indian State of Forest Report 2021 showcased Hyderabad’s efforts paying off in rebuilding its green cover. To augment the city’s impressive strides, ADP’s Tarang (Social Responsibility Program) has undertaken this initiative in line with the company’s sustainable development goals, to further bolster greenery in the financial district of the city.
Dr. Vipul Singh, Divisional Vice President and Head of HR & CSR, ADP India, said, “As a responsible corporate, we are happy to participate in green drives and reinforce our SDGs in environmental safety. This plantation drive aims to improve the ecological value and effectual carbon sequestration in Hyderabad. It has also successfully brought out our associates from concretized corporate spaces to nature’s healing today. This has been a step forward in our strategy to meet ADP’s ambitious SDG targets and recalibrate focus areas.”
In addition to the green drive, ADP India has recently collaborated with several NGO’s and provided some of the most vulnerable communities in Hyderabad, with groceries, clothing and other necessities worth INR 10 Lakhs as part of ADP Month of Caring initiative. Over 4500 of those underprivileged have benefitted from this initiative.
The current drive is in continuation to ADP India’s commitment to safety and sustainability in the city. The company has previously collaborated with the Cyberabad police to install CCTV cameras in the Nanakramguda area of the city. Over the last 2 decades, ADP has consistently served the community through its employee-driven and leadership-led community empowerment initiatives.
