Snowdrop, one of the most highly-anticipated K-dramas has made its way to Disney+ Hotstar and will also be available in Hindi. With intriguing characters, outstanding storytelling, and a fantastic cast – Snowdrop is a show that will take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster that is full of excitement, action, and romance. Featuring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Something In The Rain star Jung Hae-in, the 16-episode series explores the forbidden love between a South Korean girl and a North Korean spy during the June 1987 Democracy Movement in South Korea. The drama is written by Yoo Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, the duo behind the 2018 thriller “Sky Castle”.
Jung Hae-in, who plays the role of a North Korean spy, reveals how he rigorously prepared for his K-drama role both mentally and physically.
“I was always thinking about how to show Soo-ho responding and adapting to different environments. I had a lot of discussion with the director about how much balance Soo-ho’s character should maintain, since he isn’t alone in this; the woman he loves is also going through turbulent times together with him. Jisoo and I discussed this a lot during rehearsals and shaped our reactions to each other’s actions. It was a fun, mutual process,” said Jung Hae-in.
