Global hospitality technology company OYO has announced a special discount scheme for small and medium scale businesses on the occasion of World MSME Day. As part of the scheme business travellers will be eligible to avail up to 60% discount on their stay in OYO hotels. They will have the opportunity to choose from more than 10000 rooms available in approximately 2000 OYO properties across the country offering this discount. The scheme is valid from June 27 to July 3, 2022 for a period of one week.
This is an initiative by the company to recognise the contribution of the MSME sector towards the economic growth of the country. A joint report by ASSOCHAM and CRISIL estimates that the MSME sector accounts for 27% of GDP and employs more than 11 crore people in approximately 6 crore business units across the country. The industry is fast adapting the digital route to scale up operations.

Businesses can avail the offer by just booking on OYO’s app, website, online travel platforms and showing their business card at the time of check-in.
Indicating the momentum in business travel, OYO has recently added more than 1250 new corporations since March 2022. The recovery is led by small and medium enterprises, traditional business houses & conglomerates, startups, travel management companies as well as film production houses as more and more people from these segments started opting for physical interactions.
