In an endeavor to provide every child access to quality education, BYJU’S through its Education for All initiative has partnered with Save the Children, Smile Foundation, Ladli Foundation, and European India Foundation to positively impact the lives of 36,000 children in the rural areas and urban slums of Telangana. This partnership will provide children free access to BYJU’S high-quality and tech-driven learning programs.

Speaking about the initiative, Mansi Kasliwal, VP- Social Initiatives, BYJU’S said, “At BYJU’S we are committed to leveraging technology to bring about positive systemic changes in education. With our Education for All initiative, we are empowering children with good quality education even in their regional languages. With an aim to provide equal learning opportunities and create self-paced learners, we are offering offline high-quality content through pre-recorded sessions to support students who do not have access to the internet. We want to take the transformative power of education to students in every corner of the country and aim to empower 5 million students by 2025.”

The beneficiary of the initiative, Mounika, a student of class 7 from Aziznagar slum, Telangana, said “Affording online classes during the lockdown was difficult. However, BYJU’S and Save the Children have provided us with learning material that has allowed me to continue my studies. BYJU’S app has recorded videos in my native language which makes it easy for me to understand and learn. The videos are also extremely engaging and simplify complex concepts.”
