Huge budget expenses for NHAI Roads

Governments are changing .. rulers are changing .. but in some parts of the country there are still roads are not upto the mark. Crores of rupees are being spent on repairs again ..even the road paths are becomes as it is again and again.

Rajendra Palnati, founder of the Youth for Anti-Corruption team said that they questioned the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), central government on how much it had spent across the country over the past ten years on national highways and their repairs. The Youth for Anti-Corruption Right to Information Act questioned how much money spent on national highways and repairs in the country.
The data is from the National Highway Authority of India from 2011-12 to 2021-2022.

The Central Government has spent lakhs of crores of rupees on development management and management for the National Highway Authority of India. 14,000 crore in 2011-12, 17,000 crore in 2012-13, 20,000 crore in 2013-14, 23,000 crore in 2014-15, 42,000 crore in 2015-16, 48,000 crore in 2016-17, 83,000 crore in 2017-18, 95,000 crore in 2018-19, 2019- 20 lakh lakh crore in 2020 and 25 lakh crore in 2020-21, while it has been reported that 89 lakh crore has been spent so far this year. All in all, if you look at the last ten years together .. almost 8 lakh crore rupees have been spent .. there is information. According to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), about Rs 1 lakh crore has been considered under the cess, said Rajendra Palnati, founder of the organization .
