The Youth for Anti-corruption more than a decade old NGO conducted corruption awareness walk on 09 December 2021 on the occasion of World Anti-corruption Day at Necklace Road.

Mr. Katta Shekar Reddy, RTI Commissioner of Telangana participated in the walk as chief guest along with Dr. Varre Venkateswarlu, Former RTI Chief Commissioner. On this occasion Mr. Shekar Reddy said that it Was appreciable that Youth for Anti-Corruption had came forward to eradicate corruption and to bring awareness in the society by doing several activities. In fact authorities forcing people to pay bribery but few officials stated they are accepting it because public offered however it witnessed nationally about corruptive nature of public servants. The most enduring leader’s Gandhi stood up strong against and injustice to reform, nation people admired and followed him nation need his inspiration to demolish corruption and RTI is the weapon to make it happen, he added.

Right to Information Act is the greatest step which helps for responsive function of government and ultimate promoter of good governance to strength establishment of democracy quoted by our standing aspiration RTI Former Chief Commissioner Dr. Varre Venkateswarlu and also he said that YAC is doing great job since every year they are conducting this walk, this year they have conducted a unique survey on Govt. employees work performance in AP and Telangana. He said that people have to question the corruption then only corruption will stop, youth are the real change maker’s, he added.
